Size measurement of particles, droplets and bubbles in high-speed transient sprays and powder jets. The VisiSizer S100, high speed drop sizing system, takes a rapid series of images of the plume and calculates the drop diameter distribution from these. What you see is what you measure.
Optional extras allow the droplet sizing system to provide velocity and direction measurements. Velocity as a function of droplet size measurements can be performed.
In addition the VisiSizer S100 system provides images of the spray break up and drop formation process. This provides a intuitive understanding of the process to add to the quantative diameter distribution data. The insight provided makes the S100 a very powerful R&D tool.
