Oxford Lasers Envision spray patternation and plume geometry systems include our Class 1 laser safe enclosure. This means that it’s as safe as the CD/DVD player in your home.
No special considerations need to be taken to install an Envision system because the enclosure is fully sealed against laser egress. An interlocked access door makes it easy to reach inside to change inhalation devices, whilst preventing accidental exposure to high-power laser light. Meanwhile, the laser-safe window allows the operator to see what’s happening during the measurement whilst remaining completely protected from any stray beam. All this protection means that it’s safe to install the Envision system in the centre of a large laboratory or factory without the worry that staff nearby will be injured.
