Neo Nd:YAG Laser
Robust Imaging Laser
The NEO series of frequency doubled Nd:YAG lasers are the workhorses of the PIV technique. The NEO range of dual head particle image velocimetry lasers are designed to offer users high performance in terms of reliability and specification. The laser heads are all machined from a solid block of aluminium and beam combination optics are mounted on a rigid, thermally annealed gauge plate to ensure that complete alignment is maintained. The stable resonators generate output beams, which are spatially very smooth, allowing for the creation of uniform light sheets.
Copper Vapour Laser (CVL)

The Copper vapour laser is an ideal high-speed, high-power imaging laser. The short pulse, high beam quality, high power beam makes it ideal for imaging applications at frequencies 10kHz requiring light-sheets or area illumination.
The latest LS-Series of copper vapor lasers offer turnkey operation, with various triggering and burst mode options from 2kHz up to 50kHz for ultimate flexibility.

Firefly PIV and Imaging Laser
Compact high speed imaging light source. Ideal for PIV.
The 300W Firefly laser is designed with PIV, particle sizing and spray pattern measurement in mind. It features a compact laser head with integrated adjustable optics to allow the thickness/throw of a light sheet to be controlled to match the system that you are imaging. The air-cooled head is fully splashproof (and a waterproof option is available, which can be submerged to allow measurements underwater). Más información »
High Power Firefly Laser
High power, high speed volumetric PIV laser.
The high-power 1kW Firefly is an imaging laser designed specifically for volumetric or tomographic PIV and weld imaging. The large beam is focussed with an adjustable, built-in lens to illuminate areas with a cross-section from 25mm-150mm. This means that this laser is suitable for many volumetric PIV applications.
