Compact Micromachining Systems

Oxford Lasers announces our newest laser micromachining system, the Alpha. This truly capable system contains all of the advantages associated with Oxford Lasers' larger systems in a compact footprint.

The class 1 enclosure has a footprint of only 800mm*800mm and is available with a range of lasers from infrared and visible which allow capable R&D machining of metals and ceramics to ultra violet for micro machining of some polymers.

In contrast to simple engraving systems of a similar size, the Alpha laser micromachining system is designed for R&D and small scale production of parts up to 8 inch diameter.

Our experts will configure the system to meet your needs with the ideal combination of scanners, stages and trepanning heads required for the work that you want to carry out. As standard, the Alpha includes our Cimita machine control software that brings vision, motion and laser control together into a single, simple interface.
