The VisiVector M series stands halfway between full-blown high speed PIV systems and standard low speed (30Hz) systems.
It offers the ability to understand turbulent flows in greater resolution with 500 image pairs (i.e. measurements) per second. The 1.3megapixel camera means that the flows are captured in high resolution.
VidPIV included
Like all of our PIV systems, the MS series systems include our intuitive VidPIV software. VidPIV presents the PIV analysis process in a tree-based structure that allows the user to branch the process to try different approaches to data analysis without destroying earlier results. In an educational setting, VidPIV allows the supervisor to probe the tree at any point to check results and aid understanding.
With a 3D upgrade, the MS series offers outstanding capability to understand a turbulent mixing process.
