When volumes grow above the level where sub-contract micro-milling is economic or if you would like to keep manufacture in-house, we can supply laser micromachining systems. Our systems incorporate all the lessons learnt during process development and scale-up. Automated part handling can be included where required and we can train your operators in laser micro-milling techniques to ensure that production starts smoothly.
Once the laser micro-milling system is running at full capacity, our sub-contract applications lab will still be available to cope with peaks in demand.
The Alpha is a genuinely capable micromachining system that fits onto a tabletop. The compact class 1 enclosure has a footprint of only 800mm*800mm, yet contains many of the features that are available in our larger systems. The infrared and visible options allow capable R&D machining of metals and ceramics. The ultra violet option allows micro machining of some polymers. read more »
