After purchasing your system, you will receive your pre-installation documentation to assist you in preparing your facility in readiness of the systems arrival.
Matters to consider include:
- Are entry points and doorways large enough to accommodate the laser system?
- Is there sufficient access to move the laser system to the specified location within your facility?
Floor Load Bearing Capacity
- Are all floors of sufficient weight bearing capability? (the granite base in our larger micromachining systems weigh in excess of 1000kg)
Power and Ancillaries
- Is there sufficient power/water/fume extraction available?

Extensive operator training is provided to ensure you have a good understanding of your new laser system. Our experienced team of engineers and scientists will provide a detailed training program that can be given at your own facility or at Oxford Lasers.
Laser Systems Training will include:
- System operation
- Basic alignment*
- System maintenance
