The E-Series is designed to make your laser micro-machining R&D as simple as possible. With a full range of lasers and accessories, the E-Series is the ideal tool for research requiring laser microdrilling, microcutting and micromilling of the highest quality. E Series laser micromachining systems combine flexibility with very high accuracy and stability.

Like all Oxford Lasers’ micromachining systems, the vibration isolated granite table ensures ultimate stability for maximum repeatability in the machined features. Our advanced CNC controller software means that you can go straight from a CAD model to machining within a single interface. The on-axis vision system allows inspection of the parts as you are manufacturing them, along with aiding alignment.

Many Options

The E series can be fitted with a wide range of high performance DPSS lasers to ensure that the laser matches the process required. The wide range of accessories that can be fitted to the system allow it to be configured for laser microdrilling, microcutting, micromilling, marking, scribing, dicing etc. The E Series system is also upgradeable, should your needs evolve.

Options and upgrades available include: increased travel stages (up to 450mm X-Y and 150mm Z), additional rotation axes, air-bearing stages, trepanning systems, taper control, galvo scanner, auto-focus and auto-alignment, height/depth sensors, additional chuck options, temperature stabilisation, fume extraction and a high-resolution off-axis camera system.

Very high accuracy laser hole drilling

For laser microdrilling, our proprietary high precision trepanning head is fitted to allow high speed microdrilling of very small holes with excellent accuracy and taper control.
