Oxford Lasers together with our partner NTUA from Lasermicrofab will present a paper discussing latest results on LIFT of copper nanoinks and fibre based laser sintering, at the EMRS Spring Meeting in Lille, France.
Laser Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) of metallic nanoparticles (NPs) ink is receiving growing interest for the printing of uniform and well-defined conductive patterns.
To date, Ag, and Cu inks have been studied as promising materials, since they exhibit high conductivity and low temperature processability. Laser sintering of metallic inks involves low temperature processing which enables high-resolution patterning and minimizes the heat-affected zone and the thermal damage to the substrate, compatible with organic electronics.
