To Our Valued Customers and Partners,
As the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak continues to impact us all we want to update you on the action taken by Oxford Lasers to maintain business operations. We continually review our operations to meet relevant government guidelines and support our staff. We remain open for business with as many of the team working at home as possible.
We have taken precautionary measures, in accordance with guidance from government and public health authorities, to ensure the health and well-being of our customers, employees and their families.
With the support of our staff we have maintained operations since early in 2020 and the plans are sustainable as this outbreak continues.
Our in-house manufacturing and contract services teams are working at near normal capacity; however, we have made some changes in order to achieve this.
We have changed work patterns and protocols to increase social distancing within the factory. We have increased cleaning, have modified workstations and introduced work patterns in other areas of the business to reduce contacts within the building.
We also continue several policies to reduce the risk of potential transmission, notably: Remote Work, Travel Restrictions, Events & Tradeshows.
Myself and my fellow Directors at Oxford Lasers believe that these plans, and the flexibility of our staff, will enable us to continue to provide services to our customers during these challenging times.
Best wishes,
Dr Martyn Knowles, CEO
Oxford Lasers
Remote Work
Where possible team members are working virtually from home as much as practical. Our team members continue to be available to connect with you by phone and online messaging and email.
Travel Restrictions
We have instituted travel restrictions in line with the Government advice (updating as required). As a result, whilst travel is not possible, we provide remote support to our service customers. We apologise to any customers who are inconvenienced by this.
Events & Tradeshows
We continue to defer all social events. We are using technology to host meetings to compensate for restrictions on the numbers we allow in any single room.
